Wooden sheds are not just for storing stuff.

Wooden sheds are not for just storing stuff. This is how I discovered that fact. I was visiting my brother-in-law recently and he invited me to look at his new ‘editing room’. I wasn’t prepared for what happened next. He walked me out to the back yard and pointed at ‘it’. IT, was a new wooden shed that he had recently built in his back yard. Not just a small and normal run-of-the-mill looking shed, but a story and a half shed building that he had designed and built himself. Inside was sound proof walls, air-conditioning, a skylight, and a full size refrigerator. Oh, and did I mention the computer, printers, scanners, dual 24 inch monitors, sound system, and every possible component one would possibly need to edit a full length feature film? Jealous? Me jealous? Heck yea I was green with jealousy. This is a techies ‘man cave’ on the first order. I am starting to re-think my idea of wooden sheds for storage. In fact I’m starting to formulate a plan for a super duper ‘man cave’ for myself. Then all I’ll have to do is figure out a way to make the wife mad at me, which shouldn’t be that difficult, and I’ll have to retreat to my dog-house/man cave for a bit of peace and solitude with the new 60 inch LCD T.V. I’m thinking of ordering. All that’s left is to decide exactly how big I must build my new ‘man cave’ to accommodate the recliner, stereo, refrig, coffee table, hot plate, microwave, sofa, hot tub, hammock, internet connection, computer, printer, scanner, etc………….. This will be a wood storage shed for ME.
Quick question, do you have an idea for a special use of a storage shed? How about an unusual shape or even unorthodox building materials. This has gotten me thinking about a portable shed-on-wheels. Wait, they already have that. It’s called an RV. Nevermind.
Till then,
I am and you’re not.
